I am grateful for the ability to text. Here are some particular things that pop to mind about it:
- It's a convenient way to stay in daily touch with family far away, even when we're in different time zones.
- It's a handy way to set up plans with a group without having to make a dozen phone calls.
- It's been a good way to stay in touch with friends during the pandemic, or as schedules and life situations change and it's harder to find times to get together.
- It's great for prayer groups: to share prayers requests, to tell people you're praying, and to give updates on situations.
I'm so grateful for all of YOU who are my texting buddies in one of these categories and who cheer the spirits through daily check-ins, funny memes, giving and receiving prayers, sending good quotes, and sharing life.
